Two half brothers from another mother, Karim Baran and Tom Bone share their love for the environment. Karim’s love for the earth has made him a long time environmentalist and he was eager to offset his family’s electrical needs with solar. Setting up solar and getting an electric car were two steps Karim invested in to be sustainable. 

Residing in La Jolla, CA, Karim enjoys spending his time outdoors. Some of his favorite activities are out on the water. He was the captain of the sailing team in college, and brought the sport into his daily life, as he still sails today. He also loves to kite-surf and hike. Karim values the Earth and makes it a priority of his to spend as much time as possible with it. He swims in the ocean everyday, rain or shine.
