1.5 MW Solar Park in Welland Ontario, Canada

These flagship SA1 (800 kW) and SA2 (700 kW) solar parks were amongst the very first utility-scale ground-mount PV systems commissioned as part of the Ontario Power Authority's Feed-in Tariff program.  Group IV Solar brought these 2 solar parks to completion in partnership with Greentech Renewables and GP Joule as the EPC lead.

They used 4,800 x 300W Canadian Solar panels, an SMA 500HE inverter and GP Joule proprietary racking.

The whole project took about 4 years from start to finish. Greentech Renewables was involved for a year and a half helping Group IV Solar manage the mid-to-late stage financing, the EPC process and executing the project. The construction was a 4 month process.
