Pittsburg's local veterinary clinic has gone solar! This Kansas-based pet care facility now supplies two-thirds of its own electricity, saving the business thousands of dollars each year.

CDL Electric Co., Inc, based out of Pittsburg, Kansas, recently completed this 15.6kW array at the PetCare & Surgery Center, a clinic that services all of Southeastern Kansas. Minutes from downtown Pittsburg, the veterinary center performs procedures, screenings, and surgeries to keep pets and farm animals safe and healthy.

The clinic owners wanted to establish a self-sufficient energy system to support their electricity needs and ensure the best, more consistent care for the many animals that pass through their doors. CDL Electric designed this system to cover 65% of the client's annual electrical usage and save an average of $3,000 yearly in electricity costs. This array will produce 23MWh annually using Silfab Solar Prime 370HC modules paired with Enphase IQ7+ microinverters. The Greentech Renewables team is thrilled to have supplied the materials for this beautiful install!
