Greentech Renewables supplied modules, inverters, racking, and more for this unique commercial photovoltaic project in Vancouver, WA.

In September 2017, the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) went live with its new 302kW solar system. Greentech Renewables worked with Mill Plain Electric to provide BPA with top-tier solar products for a reliable and efficient system. The solar panels sit on BPA's new Administration and Maintenance buildings at the BPA Ross complex in Vancouver, WA. Months of discussions and planning ensured that the new installation provided sufficient energy for the complex's needs, complied with local permitting requirements, and allowed for future expansions.

The Yaskawa-Solectria 50 and 60KW transformerless inverters paired with rapid shutdown combiner boxes allowed flexibility in design while reducing install time. The project also featured the SolarWorld 350XL modules, S-5! clamps and IronRidge rails. The expected annual output of the system is an impressive 317.4 MWh. Congratulations to BPA for going solar!
