This project presented a unique design challenge due to the building’s metal roof, requiring a non-ballasted racking system that utilized specialized clamps to maintain structural integrity and meet FM Global standards. To optimize energy production across varying roof orientations, modules on the north side were installed at an angle, while the south side utilized a flush-mounted approach. Balancing these design considerations required precise engineering and coordination during installation. The team successfully delivered a system that maximizes performance while adhering to strict safety and compliance requirements.

Our partnership with Greentech Renewables Commercial Solutions Great Lakes was instrumental in the successful delivery of this 932kW commercial project for Ring Container Technologies at their manufacturing facility in Rockford, Illinois. Working closely with our dedicated representative, Brian Eisenbise, the team ensured timely procurement and coordination of key system components, including SolarEdge inverters, synergy units, power optimizers, and JinkoSolar 580W modules. Their responsiveness and attention to detail helped navigate supply chain considerations and keep the project on schedule.
