BARC Electric Cooperative 550kW Community Solar Project

The BARC Electric Cooperative serves 13,000 members in Northern Virginia. With the help of Affordable Energy Concepts and Greentech Renewables, 212 BARC subscribers now have access to clean solar energy at a stable rate for the next two decades.

BARC and AEC chose Jinko Solar modules and Huawei string inverters to minimize cost while ensuring Tier 1 reliability and bankability. 

With this first 550kW system already fully subscribed, BARC is already looking toward future community solar projects.
