I recently purchased a house with an existing LG solar panel installation. I learned that LG is out of the solar business but will honor warranties with a possible monetary adjustment. Also, I learned from LG the warranty applies to the installation not the original owner. Two panels previously failed and a warranty adjustment was given to the previous owner.
The contractor who installed the system is no longer in business. However the solar equipment was purchased directly from you by the owner and ins
talled by the out of business contractor. I have copy of your original invoice Order No. 7133-527004 3/17/2016 $10,789.79
Five additional panels are under performing averaging only about 75% efficiency after over nine years in service based on analysis of Enphase monitoring system data. See attached file.
LG Solar indicates a distributor usually files claims for warranty adjustment. Would you be able to process a claim for me.
