The USDA's "Rural Energy for America Program," or “REAP,” offers a grant designed to encourage agricultural and rural businesses to maximize their energy efficiency with solar.

Solar Incentives in Indiana

Solar energy systems in Indiana qualify for a property tax exemption, meaning the cost of the system will not be added to the total taxable value of your property.

Indiana no longer offers any state specific solar rebates. 

Business owners in Indiana can still however take advantage of the Federal Investment Tax Credit to reduce the total cost of a solar energy system by 30%. This can be used in addition to the USDA's REAP Grant.
