Fortress Power Installer Training: New Products, Off-Grid Solutions & VPP Opportunities
Greentech Renewables Vermont is hosting an installer training with Fortress Power. Join us to discover Fortress Power’s latest residential and off-grid solutions. This hands-on session will walk through product overviews, intended applications, and best practices for installation and commissioning.
Fortress Power will discuss the eBoost 16 kWh battery, Envy Duo 21 inverter, and Solo 6.5k off-grid inverter and follow up with a discussion on Virtual Power Plant (VPP) opportunities, highlighting incentives available through the Green Mountain Power Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program.
This training is ideal for installers, electricians, and project managers looking to stay ahead of new products, expand system offerings, and unlock additional homeowner value through VPP participation.

9:00 – 9:30 AM | Envy Duo 21 Inverter
The Envy Duo 21 session will focus on high-capacity inverter applications and how it pairs with Fortress Power batteries for flexible system design. They'll cover intended use cases, system configurations, and best practices for installation and commissioning.
9:30 – 10:00 AM | Solo 6.5k Non-Export Inverter
This segment will explore the Solo 6.5k non-export inverter, with an emphasis on off-grid, backup, and hybrid system applications. They'll go over system architecture, common design scenarios, and key considerations installers should keep in mind when deploying Solo in remote or grid-independent environments.
10:00 – 10:30 AM | VPP Incentives & Programs
Installers will learn about Fortress Power’s EnergyBroker Virtual Power Plant (VPP) platform and how it creates added value for homeowners. This portion will highlight incentive opportunities available through the Green Mountain Power Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program, including how participation works and how installers can position VPPs as a financial and resiliency benefit.
10:30 – 11:00 AM | Q&A + Open Discussion
Fortress Power team members will address real project scenarios, clarify technical details, and share next steps and resources available to installers after the training.
